these are momentary feelings; pieces of my troubled mind; i write what i think, what i think is what i feel, what i feel is what I am and what i am is what i am...... and if only promises could erase the past, I could open my heart enough to take it all back. But Ive been down this road, time and time again. And I've learned the hard way how the story always ends...

sagada experience was pretty extreme. great adventure. comes highly recommended that you come and visit it. personal fave is the spelunking. it was extreme in all aspect. extremely breathtaking rock formations, slides, slopes, and extremely fun and tiry all at once. i can still feel the pain and stiffness of my muscles. caving requires lots of energy and endurance. do or die, one wrong move could severely hurt you. as our guide always says, listen to his instructions and do as he says. given a chance to comeback, id do cave connection again.
another highlight of the trip was the sunrise and sunset viewing. too bad we went yet the sun didnt show himself to us. we woke up real early and went to viewing point for the sunrise, a lot were there too. there was a bonfire as it was too cold, then the early morning light came but there was cloud in the horizon. sunrise may have failed us but sunset did not. it showed its majestic color of orange, red and gold. amazing.
a lake nearby gives a scenic view also. perfect timing too as when we arrived by the lake, a guy was making his sweet proposal to his woman. such a sweet encounter.
we passed by hanging coffins before going to the caves....hanging coffins, i couldnt say much as they were hanging in the mountains, way too far for viewing. i think even a dslr cam would have a hard time capturing that.
one of the things we missed was going to the big falls. we were so tired from the caves that we didnt have the energy to trek to see the big falls. it would take half day for that adventure and unfortunately we have a body body ache from caving that would last for a month so we settled for a smaller falls. which only took around 10 to 15 minutes walk... but mind me, it was a killer trek, especially going up. i almost faint.
food talk, if you search online, two of the must visit were yoghurt house and lemon pie house. i am not into pie. and their pie didnt get me close to changing my mind. most of the list in their menu wasnt available. yoghurt house on the other hand comes highly recommended food was great. place was clean. people were nice and they have this really good cookies. we even met local star aga mulach who was also in sagada shooting an episode for his explore show in tv5.
lodging. there are lots in the area but i can only talk of where we stayed. sagada home stay. very cozy, clean and super nice folks. comes equipt with stuff you will need if you feel like cooking. has free wifi. comes highly recommended.
transportation. on our way to sagada, we took a straight route to bontoc via cable tours. it was a pain staking 12hour and a half stuck on a small bus with very uncomfortable seat. i hated it. going back to manila, we took a different route. we passed by banaue. we got to take photos, lots of photos with rice terraces at the back ground. the bus from banaue were much more nicer, thankfully.
