Im not sure how to say this but I have tried my bestest but it seems my daughter and I doesnt connect emotionally. We are emotionally distant. When I say things to her, she doesnt seem to listen and or care at all. Im not sure if this is normal.

I look her in the eye and I say things that I sure hope would hit her and make her understand why I am telling her that but shes all blank. I end up hitting her just to see her react. I dont want to be a bad mom but I dont know. I need help. :(
